WHY KASTELLORIZO, GREECE?
Kastellorizo holds a special place in Dani & Ant's heart. Anthony's Great grandfather is from the Island of Kastellorizo, when they visited the Island in 2021 Ant planned a super romantic sunset proposal.
TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR PROPOSAL
We planned a trip to Kastellorizo in 2021 once the borders to Greece had opened up after Covid. It was my first time visiting the beautiful Island where Anthony’s relatives are from. On the day of the proposal, we had planned to walk up the 400 steps to the Monastery, however, in the afternoon we could see an ominous storm looming in the distance on the mainland of Turkey. We almost aborted the idea, however, somehow the wind changed and the storm passed so we decided to go up as planned. As we were descending the mountain, the sun was setting and the light was incredible. I stopped at an amazing vantage point to take a photo of the breathtaking view and as I did, Anthony got down on one knee and proposed. It was probably one of the most romantic spots you could think of.
TOP TIPS?
If you plan to get married on a small island in Europe, delegate as much as possible as the list of tasks is never-ending! And make sure someone speaks the local language!

What stood out the most to us when booking Maegan was her upbeat personality and positive attitude. From the moment that we first Skyped her we felt very relaxed as though we had known her for years. We must have skyped dozens of photographers before we found her as we were wanted to engage someone that was not only creative and could capture our weekend as we envisaged, but someone that would also have fun with us along the way. We knew we would 100% have this with Maegan so we had to lock her in!
Another aspect that stood out to us was her amazing work ethic and the fact that she puts 110% into everything. She is extremely organised which made us feel very at ease from the get go, especially considering we were planning a destination wedding which can be very stressful at times. For us our photography and videography were the most important aspects of our wedding and It was imperative that we chose a team we could rely on. We were also extremely lucky that Maegan worked so well with the rest of our team. It made our day run all the more seamlessly!
We also received glowing feedback from all our guests who commented on Maegan’s professionalism and the positive energy that she brought to all of our events. Upon viewing the sneak peaks, it’s clear that she has managed to capture so many very beautiful moments in such a creative way, and we can’t wait to see more!!
