The most wild and wonderful celebration for Georgia & Simon at Sophia at the Prahran Arcade shared with 250 of their people. Their wedding day was full of fun, sophistication and style.
Georgia and her gals spent the morning getting ready in their matching linen loungewear sets by Nude Lucy before Georgia stepped into her stunning Christie Nicole bridal dress. Georgia and Simon incorporated Jewish elements into their day and I can safely say that I somehow walked away from the Hora dance totally bruise-free, even after riding through the crowd on multiple shoulders (shout out to the absolute troopers who got me up on their shoulders so that I could capture all of the action!!)

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR THE BEGINNING!
We had a mutual friend who thought we'd hit it off actually found ourselves (with that friend) at the same train station one morning on the way into the city. It was a bit of a sliding doors moment, as we ended up being separated from our friends in one carriage, and started talking and walked to work together. As soon as we left each other Simon followed me on instagram... so I knew he was pretty keen!
WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU GET ENGAGED?
We were living in Sydney and separated from my (Georgia's) family in Melbourne during the pandemic as the borders were closed. After about 6 months they re-opened, and we quickly booked a flight to Melbourne to see them. The night before we flew down, Simon walked into our apartment with a bottle of champagne (I was in my pyjamas on the couch) he sat down next to me, told me why he loved me and asked me to marry him. He knew I'd want to celebrate with my family straight after. It was perfect.
HOW DO YOU ENVISION YOUR WEDDING DAY?
We're really hoping that it's a reflection of us, and our respective backgrounds (which are quite different), full of family and good friends, and of course- a big party..
