Maddalen & Samuel's vision for their Melbourne Wedding was understated, old school love, moody, dark, lots of candles and just ‘sexy’ love. Their wedding venue, Old Palm Liquor brought all of that to life and more - amazing food, wine, cocktails and music.
Maddalen wore the most stunning veil with embroidered pink flowers, she wore pink shoes
and her bridesmaids chose to wear different shades of pink to suit. When we were getting the bridal party
photos I spotted a group of people with HUGE pink
balloons strolling along the street at one of the busiest intersections in Melbourne. They were so sweet to let us use the balloons for some photos, they turned out incredible!!

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR THE BEGINNING!
The beginning of our love started before we even met each other! We both had moved back to our home town in Wollongong and we started to notice each other EVERYWHERE. Walking along the beach, swimming the ocean, at yoga, at cafes, we even started working in the same precinct! It got a little bit weird to be honest but we knew at some point, our worlds would collide. It just so happened that Maddi was going to an event that Sam was hosting for work and Sam made the brave move and finally got the courage to talk to her. It all began with one small conversation about seeing each other everywhere and it all blossomed from there. We had our first date and then we have been enjoying life together ever since.
WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU GET ENGAGED?
We got engaged in October 2022 in Sydney on the water. We love Parsley Bay and we decided to take a little stroll and Sam popped the question in a secluded cave amongst the bright blue ocean. We then celebrated with a surprise stay at Oxford House and dinner at our favourite spot, 10 William Street in Paddington. The ring Sam proposed with by Mia Chicco was uniquely designed and couldn't have represented Maddi more.
HOW DO YOU ENVISION YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Old school romance and beauty. We like to look at our relationship as old love that transcends time and space. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found each other and we cherish the good and the bad times together. We want our wedding day to represent all those things and have our amazing family and friends there to share our special moment.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Having an amazing time with each other and enjoying the experience. We want everyone to feel as in love as we are and remember that love is the most important thing in the whole entire universe!
